The exclusion period of an 18-year-old cyclist has been extended for providing false information during the procedure.

Russian cyclist Nikolai Kuzmenko has been suspended for six years for providing false information during an anti-doping trial, a source close to the matter told .

The 18-year-old 2024 Russian Cup medalist was disqualified for six years because ligandrol and meldonium were found in his sample.

“The disqualification period was extended due to the fact that during the consideration of the case the athlete provided false data and this was proven,” a source told .
