The boxer received a shadow ban for calling for help to free the defenders of Mariupol.
Until recently, the absolute champion, and now the holder of the WBC, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles, Alexander Usik, asked Donald Trump, if he believed that he had influence on Vladimir Putin, to contribute to release of Ukrainian prisoners of war.
The boxer made this request to the famous stand-up comedian and actor Joe Rogan, who is scheduled to record a podcast with the US presidential candidate in the near future. The athlete asked him to address Trump on a question about the possibility of releasing the defenders of Mariupol and other Ukrainian soldiers from Russian captivity.
dear @joerogancan i ask @realDonaldTrump when he appears on your podcast: if mr. The President has a lot of confidence in his influence with Putin, can he help #FreeAzovstalDefenders and all Ukrainians from captivity in Russia immediately? Time is of the essence.
Sincerely, Oleksandr— Oleksandr Usyk (@usykaa) October 24, 2024
The consequence of such treatment by Usik on the X network, owned by Elon Musk, was a shadow ban.
After the publication of this post, the account of the Ukrainian boxer could not be found by search.
It was previously reported that Alexander Usyk and Tyson Fury had an initial battle of views ahead of their rematch.
