Now the referee has been punished
UEFA ban for two Polish referees, who got into a scandal before the match Dynamo with Rangers in the third qualifying round Champions League 2024/25.
Let us remind you that on the night of August 6, three men stole a road sign from one of the squares in Lublin, and then headed towards the shopping center with it. Police detained all three at 1:43 a.m.
Among the detainees were two arbitrators of the Polish Ekstraklyasa, Bartosz F. and Tomasz M. Bartosz’s blood showed 1.7 ppm of alcohol, Tomasz’s – 1.8.
Both referees were supposed to work at Dynamo’s match with Rangers in the Champions League qualification. Bartosz was to lead the VAR team, and Tomasz was appointed as his assistant. Both referees were suspended from the match
Now the referees have received a final verdict: a ban from working in matches under the auspices of UEFA until June 30, 2025. The referees were both accused of violating the basic rules of decent behavior and desecration of football.
