Figure skater Romain Savosin said he was trying not to think about his first place in the short program during the first stage of the Russian Figure Skating Grand Prix.
The first stage of the Russian Grand Prix began on Saturday in Magnitogorsk. Savosin scored 92.08 points for the short program and took first intermediate place. The second is Nikolai Ugozhaev (91.70), the third place is Mark Kondratyuk (90.30).
