Catterall managed to catch Prograis perfectly in the third round, but fought back and responded to his opponent in the fifth three-minute period. After the American’s jab, the British boxer, in order not to fall, touched the ring floor with his gloves, and the referee counted the knockdown.

However, in the ninth round, Catterall managed to knock his opponent down twice.

The fight lasted all 12 allotted rounds, after which the British won by unanimous decision with scores of 117-108, 116-109 and 116-109.
