The British boxer defeated the American by unanimous decision.
Briton Jack Catterall (30-1, 13 KOs) defeated American Regis Prograis (29-3, 24 KOs) in a fight for the vacant WBO International belt at the welterweight limit.
The match took place on Sunday night, October 27, at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, England.

Catterall managed to catch Prograis perfectly in the third round, but fought back and responded to his opponent in the fifth three-minute period. After the American’s jab, the British boxer, in order not to fall, touched the ring floor with his gloves, and the referee counted the knockdown.
