Head coach Podolia Vitaly Kostyshin officially left his post and said goodbye to the club.
“I want to thank everyone for this unforgettable journey in the Podolia football club! Leadership for trust and support not only in victories, but also in defeats. Opportunity to develop and gain extensive experience as a head coach. Special thanks to Evgeniy Stanislavovich Beiderman for believing in me from the first days of working at the club. I wish all coaches such confidence from the president.”
“Gratitude to Alexander Sergeevich Simchishin for his great contribution to the development of the Podolia football club and football in general in our hometown. To the coaching staff and all the employees of the football club who have been there all these years. To all the players who have been with me for 7 years. We worked hard and everyone gave a piece of themselves to their home club! Special thanks to the residents of Khmelnitsky for their support and healthy criticism. I’ll miss you!
In today’s First League match between Prykarpattya and Podolia, the actions of the Khmelnitsky team are led by Andrey Fedorenko and Alexander Zhdanov.
38-year-old Kostyshin took charge of Podolia in 2017, when the Khmelnitsky team was still playing in the Second League.
In 10 matches this season, Podolia won only one victory. He scored 7 points, the natural result of which was to remain in the penultimate seventh position in the standings of Group A of the First League.
