In a formally home match, which took place in Slovakia, the Ukrainian team beat their opponent again
Motor won a second victory over Luxembourg Esham within the second round of selection European Cup 2024/25 in handball – 46:29.
Let us remind you that in the first (home) match, the representative of the dwarf state gave battle to a better opponent, but still lost (26:32). The return match took place in Michalovce, Slovakia, and here the Ukrainian team had no problems.
Gradually increasing the advantage, Motor increased the lead in the score minute by minute, and went into the break with a handicap of +8. In the second half, when the intrigue had already died, the opponents relaxed and showed amazing performance, scoring 45 goals between them.
Thanks to this success, the Ukrainian team reached the final, third round of selection, where they will compete for a place in the first stage of the main draw – the 1/8 finals, which will take place in 2025.
