The Miners are in fourth place in the UPL
Midfielder Shakhtar Eguinaldo summed up the results of the meeting with Dynamo (1:1) in the 11th round of the UPL.
“Of course, we are disappointed that we were unable to finish this match with a victory. We had, in my opinion, a phenomenal match and acted very efficiently in organizing moments and building the game. However, unfortunately, this happens in football, you don’t always get what you deserve.”

“Playing in the minority is always very difficult, and this affected the pattern of our game. As I already noted, we dominated and showed good attacking football, but, unfortunately, it’s difficult to play with ten men, especially against an opponent like Dynamo.”
The Miners, playing in the minority for more than half an hour, missed out on victory over the capital club in the last minutes. Karavaev’s goal brought the white-blues a draw: he responded to Bondarenko’s goal.
Shakhtar is in fourth place in the UPL standings. On October 30, Marino Pusic’s team will play against Zorya in the 1/8 finals of the Ukrainian Cup, after which they will meet Chernomorets in the Premier League on November 2.
