Russian synchronized team Svetlana Kolesnichenko and Varvara Subbotine became the best in the technical program of the duet competition at the Spartakiad in summer sports among the strongest athletes.
The athletes scored 97.3896 points. Second place was taken by representatives of the Russian junior team Daria Ogorodnikova and Polina Lartseva (93.5309), third place was taken by Valentina Gerasimova and Valeria Lazareva (90.3143) from the team of St. Petersburg.
The competitions take place according to the program of the Olympic Games. Medal winners will be announced Sunday after the free program performance.
Spartakiad competitions are held simultaneously in 12 regions of Russia, more than 9,000 of the strongest Russian athletes will take part in them. The Spartakiad will last from August 10 to October 2.
