The previous Mexican Grand Prix allowed Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton to record another victory.
According to Formula 1 on social media, the 39-year-old Briton became only the second driver in history to complete 20,000+ laps in his racing career.

Now the seven-time world champion has completed 20,061 laps in the Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The record belongs to Hamilton’s former teammate – Fernando Alonso, despite retiring in Mexico City, increased his figure to 21,593 laps.

Earlier, Williams driver Franco Colapinto ruled out his possible move to Red Bull, also concerned that he is at risk of missing out on the 2025 season.
