Hero of the 14th round of the First League Litovchenko: Kudrovka football players are capable of solving the most ambitious tasks

FC Kudrovka signed ex-Left Bank striker Litovchenko and has no regrets now. It’s a pity that we managed to do this not earlier, that Alexey started playing in late autumn. The hero of the fourteenth round in the First League, Alexei Litovchenko, in an interview with Sport Arena, shared his impressions of Kudrovka’s crushing victory over Kremin (3:0), and also spoke about the team’s readiness to achieve the most ambitious goals. Let us remind you that after the last round, Kudrovka rose to second place in Group B.

– How unexpected and pleasant is it for you to be recognized as the best player of the tour in the First League?

“I can’t say that I’m surprised by this recognition, but I’m very pleased.” I’m happy that authoritative experts appreciated my game. I keep working and moving forward.

– In the thirteenth round, Kudrovka interrupted her unbeaten streak. What conclusions did you draw from the match against Victoria? Your team in that match was not like itself..

– Indeed, this was clearly not the best match of our team. We failed to demonstrate our best qualities. Unfortunately, Rogozinsky, Korkishko and I had injuries, and this could not but affect the team’s play. In addition, it is also worth noting the level of the opponent. It’s a shame to lose so-called matches for six points.

– What did the coaching staff focus on before the game with Kremlin? Did you understand that you shouldn’t underestimate an outsider?

– There are no weak teams in the First League now. Kremin is a good, young team with a qualified coach. Indeed, they are not succeeding in everything this season, but there was definitely no talk of underestimation. In my opinion, Kremlin still lacks experience, but this team is progressing. The work of Yuri Yaroshenko should also be noted.

– In the first half of the meeting, nothing worked for your team. Was it difficult to play against an opponent who defended with all his might?

– I can’t say that we played poorly, but it was not easy at the beginning of the match to adjust to the Yunost stadium lawn. We gradually managed to make progress in the game and at the end of the half we took advantage of our chance.

– In the 40th minute after your pass, Teplyakov opened the scoring in the match. Did you breathe a sigh of relief after this goal?

– Teplyakov played great in this episode. He passed it and immediately ran to get open to receive the return pass and made a great throw over the goalkeeper. We were able to breathe a little sigh of relief.

– Almost immediately after Tuzenko’s removal, Kudrovka remained in the minority. What happened in this episode? Do you think the referee made the right decision?

– I can’t comment on the referees’ decision. In my opinion, it was a game moment. It was noticeable that the opposing player hit Tuzenko’s bone and immediately received a cut. I wish him good health and a return to the game in the next match.

– In stoppage time, you increased Kudrovka’s advantage with a superb strike. Third goal in six games with three assists. Are you satisfied with your performance?

– I always try to benefit the team with my play. We all work for a common result. We want Kudrovka to be as high as possible in the table. There is no limit to perfection, so there is still a lot of work to be done.

– How difficult was it for the team, functionally, to play the entire second half in the minority?

– I can’t say that there were any problems. Functionally, Kudrovka is well prepared. We understood that it was worth running and working more for Tuzenko. In my opinion, we coped with this task.

– At the beginning of the second half, Mamrosenko brought the score to a devastating one. After this goal, did you realize that all questions about the winner had already been cleared?

– We always play from the first to the last minute. If you lose concentration, your opponent may punish you for it. We tried to score more and please the fans.

– Three points allowed Kudrovtsy to rise to second place. Admit it, were these results expected on the team?

– Our team includes a number of qualified football players who are capable of solving the most ambitious tasks. We have players who have experience playing in the UPL. I don’t think these results are unexpected. Let’s move forward.

– What tasks do you set for yourself for the final part of 2024?

– It is important to move from match to match. We set ourselves maximum goals before each game. We are trying to progress and please the fans with our game and results.

– You already joined Kudrovka during the season. Who suggested you to move to this club and did you think about it for a long time? Perhaps there were any other suggestions? If yes, then why did you choose Kudrovka?

– On the last day of the transfer window, they reported that the head coach of the Left Bank was not counting on me. Evgeniy Kushnir offered to join Kudrovka. Almost without hesitation, he agreed to the offer because he wanted to play. There were no other offers, there was almost no time left until the end of the transfer window.

– Who helped you in adaptation?

“I didn’t need time to adapt. I knew a number of Kudrovka football players. Besides, I was already on this team.

– At the youth level you played for Dynamo. What do you remember from that period? Maybe you had to play with some of the current football stars?

– First of all, I want to remember Viktor Tsygankov. Even then it was clear that he had a great future. Only pleasant memories from the years spent at Dynamo Academy. There they taught me to play football. I gained invaluable experience that helps me now. Not every football player has this opportunity.

– Which match among professionals is the most memorable for you at the moment?

– Of course, first of all I want to mention the Left Bank – Minai match. The victory allowed Left Bank to reach the UPL for the first time in history. Such emotions remain in memory for a lifetime. I am from the Left Bank myself, and for me this is a significant achievement.

– Which team at the professional level has managed to reveal its potential the most at the moment? Maybe this is Ternopil Niva or Left Bank?

“I hope that all my greatest successes are yet to come.” I gained invaluable experience in each team. I had the opportunity to show my best qualities. There were good periods in my career that are pleasant to remember.

– In your opinion, Kudrovka, with the current personnel potential, can rise in class this season?

– I hope that the club will keep up with our results. Of course, we set ourselves the most ambitious goals, but we don’t want to look at the standings yet. All the main matches are still ahead. We can beat anyone in the First League.

– In the next round you will play against Poltava. What are your expectations from the match with the leader?

– We have already started preparing for this match. SK Poltava is different from most other teams. Poltava residents have a high-quality selection of performers and a qualified coaching staff. This team has its own playing style that they adhere to. It will be a very difficult match, but I hope we can score points.
