The composition of the Presidium of the Russian Water Sports Federation (FWWSR) has been determined, the press service of the All-Russian Swimming Federation reports.
On Thursday, the All-Russian Swimming Federation, the Russian Synchronized Swimming Federation, the Russian Water Polo Federation and the Russian Diving Federation merged into a single organization – the Russian Swimming Federation. The presidium of the new organization included 25 people, including the president of the FVVSR Dmitry Mazepin and first vice-president Vladimir Salnikov .
The vice presidents of the united federation will be responsible for different sports. Olga Brusnikina will take care of synchronized swimming, Stanislav Druzhinin will take care of diving, Evgeny Korotyshkin will take care of swimming and Evgeny Sharonov will take care of water polo.
The presidium also included: Victor Avdienko, Eric Akchurin, Dmitry Apanasenko, Nikita Belousov, Igor Gorin, Vladimir Glinyanov, Gleb Galperin, Igor Gorbunov, Alexander Danilov, Oleg Zholobov, Maria Kiseleva, Victor Kuznetsov, Evgeny Muravyov, Denis Pankratov, Tatyana Pokrovskaya, Dmitry Sautin, Grigory Stetsyuk, Dmitry Shapot and Alexey Filonov.
