The royal club itself started the campaign with a donation of one million euros. The funds, according to Real’s website, “will go to help numerous families who find themselves in a critical situation and who need our help and solidarity.”
A powerful storm hit Spain yesterday from the southeast, causing tornadoes and hurricanes in some regions. Valencia was hit the hardest by the storm; the storm also affected Andalusia and southern Catalonia. According to some reports, the death toll has already exceeded one hundred people.
