Elections to the new united federation took place Thursday in Moscow. Dmitry Mazepin was elected head of the organization, who proposed Salnikov for the post of first vice-president.
The new united federation includes the All-Russian Swimming Federation, the Russian Diving Federation, the Russian Water Polo Federation and the Russian Synchronized Swimming Federation.
