Winger Bayern Leroy Sane may leave the club at the end of the season. The real option for continuing his career is London Arsenal.
Gunners coach reportedly Mikel Arteta is a “big fan” of the talent of the German footballer, with whom the Spaniard had the opportunity to cross paths at Manchester City.
Sane’s contract with Bayern expires in the summer of 2025. The Munich team continues to negotiate with the player’s representatives about extending the agreement, but there is no clear progress yet.
The 28-year-old winger is a hot target in the transfer market given his contract situation. So, in October, information appeared about interest in him from “some Premier League clubs” (later specifics appeared in the form of Manchester United). It was also reported that Barcelona, coached by Hans-Dieter Flick, who knows Leroy well, intends to sign Sane as a free agent in the summer.
Sane missed the start of the current one due to an injury, and after returning to the game he only appeared on the field once in the first team of Bayern (and even then in the German Cup). The winger has a total of eight appearances on the field and three goals scored – one per tournament.
Bayern leads the Bundesliga, ahead of Leipzig only on goal difference. In the next round, Munich will host Union on November 2.
