Both clubs are unbeaten in the Saudi Arabian Championship
Al Nasr tied with Al-Hilalem in the home match of the 9th round Saudi Arabian Championship.
Stefano Pioli’s team took the lead in the 1st minute through the efforts of Anderson Talischi. The teams exchanged goals before the break, but both goals were disallowed for offside.
Al-Hilal came back in the 78th minute – Sergei Milinkovic-Savic finished off Renan Lodi’s cross. As a result, the result was a 1:1 draw.
Cristiano Ronaldo played the entire match for Al-Nasr. The 39-year-old forward was unsuccessful for the third match in a row.
Interestingly, Al-Nasr has not been able to beat Al-Hilal in the Saudi Arabian Championship since December 2021.
Both clubs continue to go unbeaten in the Saudi Arabian Championship. Al-Hilal (25 points, 8 wins and 1 draw) leads the standings, Al-Nasr (19 points, 5 wins and 4 draws) is in third position.
Next week both clubs will play matches in the 4th round of the Asian Champions League. Al-Hilal will host Iran’s Esteghlal on November 4, while Al-Nasr will host Al-Ain from the UAE on November 5.
