Neymar is out of the lineup again

Brazil announced an application for the upcoming qualifying matches for World Cup 2026.

Neymar was again left out of the lineup. But his colleague in the role, Real Madrid representative Vinicius Junior, was among the “23”.


Goalkeepers: Bento (An-Nasr), Ederson (Manchester City), Weverton (Palmeiras);

Defenders: Danilo (Juventus), Wanderson (Monaco), Guilherme Arana (Atlético Mineiro), Abner (Lyon), Eder Militao (Real Madrid), Gabriel (Arsenal), Marquinhos (PSG), Murillo (Notting Forest);

Midfielders: Andre (Wolverhampton), Andreas Pereira (Fulham), Bruno (Newcastle), Gerson (Flamengo), Lucas Paqueta (West Ham), Rodrigo (Real Madrid);

Forwards: Estevao (Palmeiras), Rafinha (Barcelona), Luis Enrique, Igor Jesus (both Botafogo), Savinho (Manchester City), Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid).


On November 14, the Brazilians will visit the Venezuelan national team. Next, on November 20, Brazil will host Uruguay.

After ten matches played, Dorival Junior’s team is fourth (out of ten) in the qualifying standings, with 16 points to its name.
