The American champion is confident of his early victory against the Ukrainian.
IBF welterweight world champion Jaron Ennis shares his expectations for the upcoming rematch with Karen Chukhadzhyan.
The American boxer expressed confidence that he will face his Ukrainian opponent ahead of schedule.
“I’m going to put on a great show, beat him and destroy him, have fun and get my knockout at the end of the night. It’s going to be fireworks. I saw a lot of things that I’m going to put into this fight to show that I’ m the guy and show the world why am i the best?
He doesn’t do anything that bothers me. More about me on fight night when I fought him. I didn’t do what I should have done. It wasn’t him. I’m the one who didn’t do what I should have done and was just looking for a knockout. But when I’m happy, everything falls into place. The knockout will come when you’re not looking for it.
I don’t look at him, but after I do my job and win in spectacular fashion, I want the rest of the welterweight belts and stay in business. I don’t want to sit for a long time. I like to keep my mind sharp,” BoxingScene quoted Ennis as saying.
The Ennis-Chukhajian rematch will take place on November 9 in Philadelphia, USA.
In January 2023, fighting for the IBF interim welterweight title, Ennis won a crushing unanimous decision victory over Chukhajyan, who missed a round.
Previously, Ennis expressed displeasure that he had to have a rematch with Chukhadzhyan.
