Figure skater Adélia Petrossian said she was unhappy with her performance in the second stage of the Russian Grand Prix in Kazan, despite winning.
On Sunday, Petrosyan won the stage in Kazan, scoring 241.55 points. Veronika Yametova finished second (220.84), third was Daria Sadkova (210.63).
— There is no satisfaction, despite first place. I would criticize myself much more than I would praise myself. She did the triple axel well, made the second sheepskin coat, but the first one is already annoying. Today in training I skated the same way, maybe that’s why I felt tense. I would like to keep the triple jumps and not end up without a stunt.
— Yametova was worried about you, do you feel the support of your rival friends?
— We communicate after the performances, and during the rental we are alone. Today I didn’t even look at the judges and spectators much. I still can’t feel pleasure.
I’ve worked a lot over the last month, but everything hasn’t gone well yet. I hope it will work in Moscow, ”the correspondent of reports Petrosyan’s words.
The Russian Grand Prix stage in Moscow will take place in mid-November.
