Figure skater Sadkova – about the stage of the Russian Grand Prix in Kazan: “I cried after the short program, I wanted to rehabilitate”

Figure skater Daria Sadkova said she was very upset after an unsuccessful performance in the short program at the Russian Grand Prix in Kazan, so she wanted to improve in the free program.

On Sunday, Sadkova, who finished seventh in the short program, received 149.39 points for her free skate, giving the 16-year-old figure skater a total of 210.63 points.

– Yesterday, it was very difficult to get back to good condition. I said at the Moscow Championship that I had started to accept failures more calmly. At first it was like that, then it started to overwhelm me, I cried, I calmed down, then the emotions came back. It was hard to fall asleep because of my thoughts. Today I recharged my energy during training – I listened to music while I did my hair and makeup.

It was exciting, I wanted to re-educate myself after a short unsuccessful journey. I hope it worked.

Initially it was set to two quads. I made it a goal to drive regularly. It was hard to prepare. It depended on the first shearling coat whether I would wear the second. If I had fallen, I would have done a triple flip, ”reports the correspondent of , reporting Sadkova’s words.

Sadkova is the silver medalist at last season’s Russian Grand Prix.
