LNZ won a strong-willed away victory over Zarya in the final match of the 12th round of the UPL

IN Kyiv The final match of the 12th round took place UPL Zarya was defeated by LNZ (1:2).

The Lugansk team opened the scoring in the 27th minute of the match – Petar Michin was the first to find his bearings in the penalty area and hit the bottom corner of Evgeniy Kucherenko’s goal with a toe shot from 11 meters out.

LNZ restored the status quo after the break – Nikita Turbaevsky parried Francis Momo’s shot, but Dmitry Topalov was the first to finish. The winning goal in the 81st minute was scored by Cameroonian Mollo Bessala, for whom he made his debut in the T-shirt of the Cherkassy club.

Note that Bessala was assisted by Einel Soares. The midfielder from Cape Verde was injured in the second round match against Alexandria (0:2), underwent surgery and almost three months later returned to the field today.

Thanks to this victory, LNZ overtook Zarya and Rukh, rising to 7th place in the tournament table. Andres Carrasco has 18 points, while the ninth Luhansk team has 15 points to their credit.

LNZ will play its next match on November 9 against Obolon, and Zarya will face Shakhtar a day later.
