Ukrainian tennis player Lyudmila Kichenok paired with a representative from Latvia Elena Ostapenko was defeated in the second round doubles WTA Finals. The Ukrainian-Latvian duo lost without a chance Xie Shuwei And Elise Mertens.
The match lasted 1 hour and 7 minutes. The opening game was a complete failure for Lyudmila and Elena – they lost all their service games, winning only one return game (1:6 in the end).
In the second set, with the score 1:1, L. Kichenok and Ostapenko managed to make a break, but they immediately allowed their opponents to do the opposite.
