The Krivoy Rog club failed to defeat Rukh in the last round
Assistant head coach Krivbassa Vitaly Vernidub commented on the outcome of the game with Rukh (1:1) in the 12th round of the UPL.
“We tried to play our football. We wanted to escape pressure with a short pass and then attack the space when we pulled the opponents out. This is important for us, these are our principles.”
“Rukh prepared very well for us. They “ate” this space somewhere, so it was hard today. I think today there was more of a fight with the ball and with each other.”
“When we attack, we have to keep balance and react very correctly to losing the ball. When we lose the ball, and it doesn’t matter who was where, the whole team has to react. We have our own principles that we adhere to.”
Krivbass takes sixth place in the standings – Yuri Vernidub’s team has 18 points. In the next round of the UPL, the Krivoy Rog club will visit the Kolos field on November 9.
