Alina Grushina-Akobia became the champion in the weight category up to 57 kg. In the final match, the Ukrainian defeated 2020 Olympics bronze medalist Evelina Nikolova from Bulgaria – 6: 2.

Tatyana Rizhko also won the gold award of the continental championship. In the final in the weight category up to 65 kg, she defeated Elis Manolova from Azerbaijan – 4: 0.
Ilona Prokopevnyuk took bronze in the weight category up to 62 kg in the rejection of her opponent – Anna Fabian from Serbia withdrew from the bronze final due to injury.
In total, Ukraine has won five European Wrestling Championship awards. Earlier, Alexandra Khomenets won silver (up to 55 kg), and Alla Belinskaya became a bronze medalist (up to 68 kg).
