I don’t have the opportunity to skate until I’m 40 and have a stable income from the sport.
The prospects for admission to the 2026 Olympic Games are not very good. Roll on to the next one… In 2030 I will be 31 years old. Am I ready to ride until I’m 31? I don’t think so. I decided why not finish now. In the show I get what I want to get from my ice skating: the audience looks at me, we don’t limit ourselves to the elements and rules of figure skating. Somewhere even more.

Khodykin, 25, is a European Championship bronze medalist and a two-time Russian Pair Skating Championship bronze medalist.
