Ukrainian tennis player Katarina Zavatskaya in a duet with a Croatian Tara Wurth made it to the final of the doubles tournament WTA 125 V Cali (Colombia).
The duration of the fight was one hour and 25 minutes. Katarina and Tara quite confidently left the first game behind. With the score 5:3, serving for the set, the Ukrainian-Croatian duo successfully fought off a break point.
Zavatskaya and Wurth started the second set with a score of 2:0, but then the rivals, seeded second at the tournament, made a powerful comeback, taking five games in a row. As a result, the party remained with Kononova and Kozyreva.
In the decisive tiebreaker, the Ukrainian and her partner had the initiative, never allowing their opponents to take the lead, and eventually achieved victory – 10:7.
