The American champion again failed to knock out the Ukrainian challenger, but won the rematch by unanimous decision.
IBF world welterweight champion Jaron Ennis (33-0, 29 KOs) defended his title in a rematch with Ukrainian challenger Karen Chukhadzhyan (24-3, 13 KOs), winning on points.
The fight took place on Sunday night, November 10, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, headlined by a boxing show from promotion company Matchroom Boxing.
Chukhadzhyan started the match well, trying to seize the initiative and act as number one, but Ennis also responded effectively. In the opening rounds, the Ukrainian challenger forced the fight against the champion, and the rivals caught each other several times, managing to shake each other.

However, in the fifth three-minute period, Ennis was able to knock Chukhadzhyan down. The Ukrainian misses a punch, the American rushes in to finish him off and forces him to take his knee.

Chukhadzhyan managed to recover from this unpleasant episode, but after that Ennis confidently took the initiative and fought. The champion threw a lot of punches, and often the challenger had to save himself in the clinch, where he was fined by the referee.

As a result, the confrontation lasted the full allotted 12 rounds, and Ennis again failed to knock out Chukhadzhyan, but won the second time by unanimous decision. The fight scores were 119-107, 117-109 and 116-110 in favor of the American champion.
