Kazan Volleyball Club “Zenith” beat St. Petersburg “Zenith” in the second quarter-final of the Russian Cup among men’s teams.
In the second leg of the quarterfinals in Kazan, the hosts won with a score of 3-1 (25:19, 24:26, 30:28, 26:24). Zenit from the capital of Tatarstan won both matches in the series and reached the semi-finals of the tournament.
Previously, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk and Kuzbass Kemerovo qualified for half of the competitions. The last semi-finalist will be determined following the confrontation between Dynamo-LO (Leningrad Region) and Dynamo (Moscow).
The semi-final matches will take place from November 30 to December 1 and December 7 to 8.
