Yamal is out for 2-3 weeks due to a sprain, Lewandowski will miss 10 days due to a lower back injury

Key attacking players of Barcelona ended up in the hospital

Barcelona reported that the winger Lamin Yamal and forward Robert Lewandowski underwent the necessary examinations and the nature of their injuries became known.

Yamal suffered a sprained ankle, and his approximate recovery time will be 2-3 weeks.

Lewandowski, in turn, injured his lower back, which is why he will stay in the hospital for about 10 days.

Yesterday, the Polish forward spent all 90 minutes on the field in the away match of the 13th round of Primera Liga against Real Sociedad (0:1). Lamin Yamal has not been on the field since Wednesday, when Barcelona defeated Crvena Zvezda (5:2) away in the Champions League.

Both players will not be able to help their national teams in November’s Nations League matches. Lamin Yamal’s Spain will play Denmark and Switzerland, while Robert Lewandowski’s Poland will face Portugal and Scotland.

Hans-Dieter Flick’s team still leads La Liga with 33 points.

Barcelona will play their next match on November 23rd away against Celta Vigo.
