Athletistic/ Figure Skating. On Monday, August 15, the official Alina Zagitova World Media YouTube channel posted a video of Olympic champion Alina Zagitova’s Sunday performance in Sochi, where Tatyana Navka’s creative team is touring these days.

As part of the Scarlet Flower ice show, Zagitova plays the role of Nastenka, the main character of the famous fairy tale by Sergei Aksakov.

Note that Zagitova’s partner in the ice show is Russian figure skater Dmitry Solovyov, who plays the main male role in this performance.

On the shores of the Black Sea, Zagitova, together with the group of Tatyana Navka, will be until the end of August.

Immediately after the first outing on the ice in Sochi of the new season, Zagitova pointed out that she feels special emotions before each outing on the ice.

Each time is like the first. I’m constantly trying to find something new, to play somewhere different, to find something that belongs to me. Therefore, every outing on the ice is a special emotion for me, the 20-year-old figure skater admitted in an interview with Ria Novosti.

The Olympic champion noted that this year’s vacation ended for her in the spring.

My vacation ended at the end of May. Immediately I began to prepare myself, to slowly restore the jumps. Two months of preparation was enough, – said Zagitova.

Also, a student of Eteri Tutberidze noted that she was in Sochi with her sister Sabina, who traditionally supports Alina before important performances,

– Yes, my sister dragged me on almost all the rides here (laughs). So I’ve already rolled everything. And I also jumped here, in Sochi, on a rubber band from the highest, 207 meters. But, you know, recently something like this “clicked” in me, and I really don’t want such extreme experiences anymore, – the skater honestly admitted.
