The Ukrainian national team held its first training session before the matches with Georgia and Albania in the Nations League

Team Ukraine held the first training session before the matches with Georgia and Albania in Nations League 2024/25.

Theoretical and practical training for the blue-yellows took place in Belek, Turkey. There, Sergei Rebrov’s team will prepare until November 15, after which they will go to Batumi. On Saturday, November 16, Ukraine will play with the Georgian national team. The next day, the blue-yellows will travel to Tirana, where they will meet Albania on November 19.

Earlier, Rebrov announced the national team’s application for the November matches against Georgia and Albania. However, goalkeeper Andrei Lunin (family circumstances), midfielders Viktor Tsygankov (injury) and Vitaly Buyalsky (injury) will not help the national team. It was also reported that the participation of forward Artem Dovbik is in question.

The Ukrainian national team has four points and takes last place in Group 1 of Division B of the League of Nations. The blue-yellow match against Georgia will take place on November 16 at the Adjara Bet Arena stadium and will begin at 19:00 Kyiv time. Earlier it was reported that all tickets for the Ukrainian fans quota for the match had been sold.
