Center back position needs strengthening after Bremer’s injury

Juventus is working on acquiring a central defender in the winter and does not intend to enter the free agent market now.

The center back position is now one of the most vulnerable in Thiago Motta’s team. Defensive leader Bremer injured his cruciate ligament and meniscus in a 3-2 win over Leipzig in early October and was out for the rest of the season.

Among the central defenders at Juventus’ disposal now are Federico Gatti and Pierre Calulu, and if necessary, the Brazilian Danilo can play in the center of defense.

It was previously reported that Juventus is interested in Jonathan Ta from Bayer Leverkusen, Milan Skriniar from PSG, as well as 38-year-old Sergio Ramos, who is still a free agent.

Juventus is now in sixth place in the Serie A standings – Thiago Motta’s team has 24 points. She will play her next match on November 23rd away against Milan.
