Yulia Kostyuk scored the only goal for the Ukrainian team
Ukrainian women’s beach soccer team today started in the international tournament Neom Beach Soccer Cup 2024which began in Saudi Arabia. Yuri Klimenko’s team lost disastrously Spain national team (1:6).
However, it was the Ukrainians who scored first – Yulia Kostyuk scored in the 5th minute. In the final seconds of the first period, Spain equalized the score.
At the end of the second 12 minutes, the Spaniards were already leading with a score of 4:1, and in the final period they scored two more goals against Anastasia Terekh.
Ukraine will play its next match at the tournament tomorrow, November 14, against the England team, which lost to Brazil in the opening round with a score of 2:4.
