Drozhzhina and Telnov took third place in ice dancing at a competition in Moscow with a score of 164.17 points. The first place was taken by Vasilisa Grigorieva and Evgeniy Artyushchenko (173.13), Arina Gorshenina and Ilya Makarov (169.86) took second place.
— How satisfied are you with the results of this tournament?
Yeast: We are satisfied with the rentals. They skated well. There were of course mistakes, there is something to work on, but we have greatly improved our results.
Telnov: I really liked everything. Of course, there are bugs that we will work on. The Paso Doble needs cleaning. It seems to me that we have managed the emotions, but that we can add and improve some areas.
— What work was done after the Magnitogorsk stage?
Yeast: We worked, before the skating, we tried not to get nervous and not to get emotional. The preparation went as usual, we worked and gave one hundred percent.
— Was it easier to perform on the second stage than to make your debut in Magnitogorsk?
Telnov: Maybe. I felt as comfortable there as I did here, at the box office itself. The ice is comfortable and there is a platform.
Yeast: I felt more comfortable on stage at this point.
— We learned that your costumes and those of the group’s athletes Sergei Mozgov and Anna Yanovskaya are made by Vanya’s mother. How did this happen?
Telnov: Mom has been involved in this profession for a very long time, she has always been interested in sewing and clothes. When I switched to figure skating, my mother started sewing my costumes. I have never gone to see anyone in my life except my mother, she will always do much better. Over time, someone started asking who sewed for me. And that’s what happened. Mom is a hard worker, I love and appreciate her very much.
