The opening ceremony was attended by legendary Real Madrid players – Emilio Butragueno and Roberto Carlos
Real opened the first in the world football club theme park in Dubai (UAE), which will be called Real Madrid World.
The park covers six hectares (the equivalent of six football fields) and features more than 40 attractions, including the iconic Stars Flyer, the world’s tallest flying chair at 140 meters, and the Hala Madrid Coaster, the first and only wooden roller coaster in the Middle East.
Visitors to the park can also visit an unusual exhibition where they can contemplate the 15 European football cups and 11 basketball cups won by the club. At the Meet the Stars show, fans can take photos with life-size figures of several iconic football players from Real Madrid’s history.
The event was attended by legendary ex-Blancos players – Emilio Butragueno, who serves as the club’s director of institutional relations, and Roberto Carlos, who works as an ambassador for Real Madrid.
Real Madrid, for which Ukrainian goalkeeper Andrei Lunin plays, ranks second in the La Liga standings. The Blancos will play their next match on November 24 away against Leganes.
