The Ukrainian withdrew in the second set of the match with Francesca Curmi from Malta
Ukrainian tennis player Daria Snigur failed to finish the quarterfinal match at the series tournament ITF V Funchal (Portugal).
The first racket of the competition met with Francesca Curmi from Malta. In the first set, the Ukrainian lost four of her serves, winning only three from her opponent. In the second game, Kurmi made a break in the fifth game, after which Daria refused to fight further.
Snigur started the tournament confidently, defeating Portuguese tennis player Teresa Franca Dias at the start. In the second round, the Ukrainian defeated the “neutral” athlete Ekaterina Yashina.
At the previous tournament in Ismaning, Germany, Snigur reached the final. In the decisive match, the Ukrainian lost to Susan Bandecki from Switzerland.
