kONO.ECF took fourth place in Group C with two wins and three losses
Team Ukraine By Counter-Strike 2 performed unsuccessfully at an international tournament IESF World Esports Championship 2024which takes place in Riyadh.
Ukraine was represented at the competition in Saudi Arabia by the team of the famous ex-football player of the Ukrainian national team Evgeniya Konoplyanki — kONO.ECF: Yaroslav “byr9” Buryak, Kirill “s4ltovsk1yy” Litvinov, Artem “kensizor” Kapran, Zakhar “polbandana” Siledchik, Denis “amster” Lyashenko.
kONO.ECF took fourth place in Group C and did not make it to the playoffs. Ukrainian e-sportsmen defeated Tunisia (Inferno – 13:4) and the USA (Inferno – 16:13) in the group stage, and also lost to Romania (Ancient – 9:13), Latvia (Mirage – 10:13) and Kazakhstan (Dust II – 8:13).
The CS2 competition at the IESF World Esports Championship 2024 takes place from November 13 to 17, with 24 national teams participating in the tournament. The prize fund is 240 thousand dollars.
