Bronze medalist at the World Figure Skating Championships Anna Pogorilaya said she hasn’t ruled out appearing on the show in the future, but for now, she’s focused on raising children.
On Friday, Evgenia Medvedeva’s show took place at the CSKA Arena in Moscow.
— Nine years have passed. We have grown so much that I already have two children. Getting back on the ice is a gift after so many years.
I went out on the ice in front of the public for the first time after the birth of my second child. I was under adrenaline, the public supported me.
— What is your main memory associated with Evgenia?
— Zhenya has grown up a lot in my eyes, she has become an adult. I am very happy that we have traveled this path together and competed together. Now we can perform in a show together.
— Can this be considered a return to the series?
“They invite me to the show, but I’m still thinking, I have a small child and I can’t stay without children for long. I want to perform.
— Do you follow figure skating?
— I follow, I observe trends. I like men’s individual skating, it hasn’t happened in a long time, it’s very nice. I can’t name a single one among men. They enter the stages of the Russian Grand Prix – and it’s like being at the World Championships, what a struggle!
— What do you wish for young skaters?
– I wish you to never give up and to go all the way.
— What is your most vivid memory associated with Evgenia?
— Our podium at the World Championships. They turned on my music and Medvedeva caught the movements,” reports correspondent, reporting Pogorilaya’s words.
On November 19, Medvedeva will turn 25; she won two silver medals at the 2018 Olympics and also became a two-time world and European champion.
