The 58-year-old former absolute world champion lasted eight two-minute rounds
Former undisputed world heavyweight champion 58-year-old Mike Tyson lost by unanimous decision judges to the famous YouTube blogger and boxer 28 year old Jake Paul. The fight, which took place in Arlington, lasted all eight two-minute rounds allotted.
Tyson started the fight well and even looked preferable to his young opponent. But the legend only lasted for the first two rounds, when Mike managed to put pressure on Paul and deliver his blows.
Starting from the third two minutes, Paul had the advantage. Jake’s blows easily passed Tyson’s defense, and Mike himself simply could not keep up with his opponents. The single blows thrown by Tyson did not cause damage to Paul.
The final rounds were completely dominated by Jake. A few seconds before the end of the fight, Paul stopped boxing and bowed to Iron Mike.
At the end of eight rounds, all judges gave the victory to Paul – 79:73, 80:72, 79:73. For Jake, this victory was the 11th in his career; Tyson lost his seventh professional fight.
