The media claimed about an imminent transfer for 10 million euros
President of Kyiv Dynamo Igor Surkis succinctly and clearly responded to information about the potential transfer of the midfielder Nikolai Shaparenko to Turkish Trabzonspor.
“Sale of Shaparenko to Trabzonspor? Absolute nonsense.”
Let us recall that Turkish media claimed agreements between the clubs. The transfer should take place in January, and Dynamo will receive 10 million euros for the transfer of the Ukrainian. At the same time, Surkis himself claimed that Nikolai refused to move to Besiktas.
25-year-old Shaparenko is a graduate of Mariupol football, who at the age of 16 moved to Dynamo and spends his entire career as part of the capital club. Nikolay made his debut for the Kiev team at the age of 19 and quickly made his way into the first team. Currently, he has 189 matches for the white and blue, in which he scored 27 goals and 33 assists.
As part of the Ukrainian national team, Shaparenko played 38 matches, scored twice, and assisted his partners three times. The midfielder is now preparing for the November Nations League matches.
This season, the midfielder played 19 matches for Dynamo in all competitions, scoring four goals and nine assists.
Dynamo takes first place in the UPL, gaining 32 points and ahead of Alexandria in additional indicators. In the next round, the Kiev team will host Chernomorets on November 23.
Trabzonspor is in 13th position in the Turkish Super League. Shaparenko’s compatriot, midfielder Arseniy Batagov, plays on the team.
