The blue-yellows beat England in the match for bronze
Ukrainian women’s beach soccer team took third place in the tournament Neom Beach Soccer Cup 2024, which takes place in Saudi Arabia.
In the match for bronze, the blue-yellows beat the English team. At the first pause, the Ukrainians left with a one-goal advantage (3:2). In the second 12 minutes the score was level – 3:3.
In the middle of the third period, Terekh and Buckingham exchanged precise blows. However, Anastasia scored a double in the 34th minute and brought victory to her team – 5:4.
In the group stage, the Ukrainians also beat England (4:2), but lost devastatingly to Spain (1:6) and minimally to Brazil (4:5). With three points to their name, Yuri Klimenko’s team took third place in the group stage.
The final match of the event between Brazil and Spain will take place today, November 16th.
