Galatasaray wants to keep Osimhen on a permanent basis, but the price from Napoli is 75 million euros

The player himself does not mind staying in Istanbul, and the Turkish grandee, ready to pay no more than 50 million for him, is looking for a “creative approach”

Attack Victor Osimhen doesn’t plan to leave Galatasaray during the winter transfer window. He feels comfortable in Istanbul and would like to continue playing for the local team.

In turn, the Turkish club is making serious efforts to keep the Nigerian in the summer. The player himself has a positive attitude towards this opportunity, but a direct buyout of the contract from Napoli unlikely. The previously released information that Victor’s clause is €75 million is confirmed and Galatasaray is “looking for a creative approach” to resolve the situation in its favor.

Let us remember that at the beginning of September it was already reported that the Istanbul giants wanted to buy out the contract of the 25-year-old forward from Napoli – Galatasaray is ready to spend 50 million on this. If the clubs manage to reach an agreement, the Nigerian himself will be offered a five-year contract.

In the summer, Napoli excluded the Nigerian from their squad for the season due to his desire to leave the club. The team’s head coach, Antonio Conte, subsequently stated that “those who left the project will remain outside the project.” Since the transfer window in the leading European leagues had already closed, one of the few options for continuing his career for Osimhen was a loan to Galatasaray.

This season, Osimhen played 9 matches for Galatasaray in all tournaments, recording 8 goals and 4 assists. Okan Buruk’s team is having a successful season: they are leading the championship (+5 points from Fenerbahce), and are third in the Europa League with 10 points after four rounds.
