Head coach Ukrainian national team Sergey Rebrov commented on the draw result (1:1) against Georgia in the away match of the 5th round of Group B1 Nations League 2024/25.
“[Чувствуем] disappointment – we tried to win. I said that the early goal played such a role that we psychologically tried to keep the score. There were counterattacks, but, unfortunately, this is the score now.”
“We were expecting any game: we were preparing for high pressure, for a positional attack. We play almost all our matches away from home, and Georgia has gained confidence from the support of the fans.”

Let us remind you that Rebrov’s team opened the scoring in the opening of the first half – Mikhail Mudrik’s cross was deflected into his own goal by Solomon Kvirkvelia.
