Figure skater Grigori Fedorov said he was not surprised by second place at the Russian Grand Prix in Moscow.
On Sunday, Fedorov won silver in the men’s competition at the fourth stage of the Russian Figure Skating Grand Prix, scoring 301.04 points in the two-program total. Evgeniy Semenenko won (301.60), bronze went to Mark Kondratyuk (289.11).
— Honestly, I’m tired, I want to rethink everything, to sleep. The responsibility is added, now they will expect more from me.
—Aren’t you surprised that the second one has such scores?
– I’m not surprised.
— How did you prepare for the program?
— After the short film, I wanted to prepare even more for the free program. In the free program, I am a bit like in life. I try not to be too tight so that the audience can watch it more interesting. In the program, I am a motivated vampire.
We discussed with Misha Tikhonov that if I skated cleanly, then I would say to KK (the place where audiences are expected – note from ): “Now you can open the beer,” reports the correspondent, Fedorov’s words.
