Biathletes of the Ukrainian national team are preparing for the start of the World Cup stages, participating in various open championships of European countries.

So, the women’s and men’s sprints took place in Hydra, Sweden. In the women’s competition, in particular, Kristina Dmitrenko, Anna Krivonos, Elena Gorodnaya, Anastasia Merkushina, Nadezhda Belkina and Alexandra Merkushina took part.

Dmitrenko showed the best result, took 4th place, losing only to three local athletes.

Krivonos, Gorodna, Merkushina, Belkina and Merkushina are in the top 25, taking 14, 16, 17, 21 and 22 places, respectively.

In the men’s competition, Anton Dudchenko showed the best result among the Ukrainians, finishing sixth. Bohdan Borovsky (7), Vitaly Mandzin (8), Denis Nasyko (17), Artem Tishchenko (18), Taras Lesyuk (20) and Bogdan Tsymbal (22) finished in the top 25.

Dmitry Pidruchny took part in the Norwegian Open Championship.

The biathlete took 25th place in the mass start, completing the distance in 40 minutes and 6 seconds.

Yulia Jima tried her hand at the Austrian Open Championship.

The Ukrainian, with two shooting errors, took 14th place in the sprint.
