Skaters Irina Khavronina And David Narizhny who perform in ice dancing, after winning silver at the fourth stage of the Russian Grand Prix in Moscow, announced their intention to improve their rhythm dance and free dance programs before the Russian Championship.
On Sunday, Khavronina and Narizhny won silver in ice dancing at the fourth stage of the Russian Figure Skating Grand Prix, scoring 206.10 points in the two-program total. Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin won (213.90), bronze went to Elizaveta Pasechnik and Dario Chirisano (189.39).
Narizhny: Normal emotions. The departure is over, all that remains is to take drugs and go to a noodle shop open 24 hours a day. There you can make your own noodles and add add-ins. How often do we allow ourselves to do this? No, we will go there for the first time. Everywhere I come across recommendations for how people make their own noodles. We want to feel that vibe.
We drove average. Regular and average hiring. Apparently they got a little nervous somewhere.
Khavronina: We are happy to have skated and to have had such a good start. We are happy to ride together. We arrived and it’s already good. Today we scored four hundredths less for the free dance.
— What do you want to focus on in preparation for the Russian Championship?
Narizhny: There are lots of things planned to do. We want to improve something in rhythm dance, something in free dance. We want to do a lot of things.
Khavronina: I want to improve everything, prepare the skates and come out ready.
The Russian Figure Skating Championship will be held from December 18 to 23 in Omsk.
