Deputy Director Carpathians on external communications Oleg Avdysh denied the journalist’s information Igor Burbas regarding the fact that the Lviv club is interested in renting a winger Polesie Beni Makuana.

Let us remind you that Makuana moved to Polesie last summer from Montpellier and had a powerful first round – 20 matches, four goals and three assists. Beni was recognized as the best football player in the UPL based on the results of October 2023. The Congo international suffered a thigh injury in February which forced him to miss the rest of last season.
In the current campaign, Makuana managed to appear on the field four times (111 minutes, one yellow card), and since mid-September he has not been included in the first team roster – he was officially considered injured.
Polesie ranks fourth in the UPL with 22 points. Imad Ashur’s team has not won the championship since the beginning of October. In the next round, the Zhytomyr team will host Zorya on November 25.
