Yannick did not give a single set to his opponents in five matches of the Final Tournament
Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner in the final ATP 2024 Final Tournament defeated Taylor Fritz.
The final match lasted 1 hour and 25 minutes. The fate of the opening game was decided by a single break by Sinner, who took the set with a score of 6:4.
In the second game the scenario on the court was similar. Once again, Sinner held his serve well (Fritz only had one break point in the game), but at the same time he again made that very important break, which became the key to the final victory.
It is curious that Sinner and Fritz met each other in the group – then Yannick also won the match with an identical score 6:4, 6:4.
Sinner became the first player since 1986 to go undefeated in a set en route to the Finals trophy. This appearance in the final was the second in his career for the Italian – in 2023 he lost to Novak Djokovic.
Let us remind you that the winner of the WTA Final Tournament 2024 was American Coco Gauff.
