The Nigerian, who is on loan for Galatasaray, has a €75 million clause.
Manchester United does not give up trying to get a striker into its ranks Victor Osimhen’s Napoli.
According to the Italian media, the English giant is preparing an original proposal for the Neapolitan club in the next transfer window: exchanging the Nigerian for Joshua Zirkze plus additional payment (about 30 million euros).
Zirkze, we recall, had a strong season in Bologna, after which he moved to Manchester for 42.5 million euros. In his new position, the Dutchman shows extremely modest results: only one goal and two assists in 17 matches. In October it was reported that Joshua could move to Juventus in the winter.
Napoli, in turn, intends to get 75 million for the striker, who is not needed by head coach Antonio Conte – this is exactly the amount of the Osimhen clause.
The 25-year-old Nigerian is spending the current season on loan in Galatasaray (8 goals and 4 assists in nine matches). According to current information, the Turkish giant wants to keep Victor in their ranks, but is not ready to pay more than 50 million to buy out the contract.
Manchester United showed interest in Osimhen last year, but the transfer never materialized.
The English giants, who have been coached by Portuguese Ruben Amorim since September 11 (his new coaching staff was introduced yesterday), are in 13th place in the Premier League standings after 11 rounds with 15 points. Amorim will make his debut at the helm of his new club in an away match against Ipswich on November 24.
