The Portuguese played without Ronaldo and other leaders
Team Croatia got a draw at home in the match with Portugal in the final round of Division A Nations League 2024/25.
The visitors took the lead midway through the first half through the efforts of João Felix. Croatia fought back after the break, but Joško Guardiola’s goal was disallowed for offside. Three minutes later, the defender scored again – this time according to the rules. As a result, the game is a draw – 1:1.
Let us note that the Portuguese national team’s entry did not include the leaders: Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva and Pedro Neto.
Portugal and Croatia advanced to the quarter-finals of the Nations League. Scotland took third place in Group 1 and will play in the playoffs between Divisions A and B. Poland left the elite division.
